Green Gains is led by Monika, an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore, and a doctoral researcher in degrowth economics and sustainable business transformation. With a background in law, innovation management, and a summa cum laude MBA focused on disrupting unsustainable business models, she brings deep strategic insight and a systems-thinking approach to drive environmental and corporate regeneration.

Monika has founded Green Gains out of a deep sense of responsibility to both people and the planet. As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, Al Gore-trained and certified Climate Reality Leader, and current PhD researcher in sustainable business transformation, she brings over a decade of interdisciplinary expertise to her mission.
Her academic journey — spanning law (LLB), Tech Innovation management (MA Cert), and an MBA (summa cum laude) focused on disrupting unsustainable growth models — informs her approach to climate strategy and systemic change.
With Green Gains, she aims to make credible, science-backed climate action accessible, auditable, and regenerative — empowering organisations to align with EU regulations, but also with a deeper purpose: to restore the living systems we depend on.
She collaborates with Klima Metrix on AI-supported carbon footprint analysis and decarbonisation strategy, and with the Verify Agency of Sweden to deliver third-party ISO 26000/VSME verifications. Her PhD research explores how Degrowth economics and Doughnut Economics principles can be implemented in corporate settings.
She also teaches at Brygga Academy and volunteers with the 10 Million Trees Foundation, working on reforestation and biodiversity protection.
