Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice provides detailed information on how Green Gains Ltd. processes your personal data for different purposes, the duration of processing, and your rights once you have provided your data.

When preparing this notice, we have taken into account the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (27 April 2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as well as the relevant sections of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

2. Processing of Personal Data of Website Users

2.1 Contact

Individuals interested in the services displayed on the Green Gains Ltd. website usually contact us by e-mail (to the address provided on the website) or by phone. In such cases, Green Gains Ltd. processes the following personal data:

  • name
  • telephone number
  • e-mail address

These data are processed by the company director and office staff for the purpose of establishing and maintaining contact. The legal basis is the voluntary consent of the individual initiating contact and the legitimate interest of both parties in ensuring that appropriate data are available to facilitate communication. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses are considered personal data only when private contact details are provided by an employee of an organisation, or when contact is initiated by a private individual.

The web hosting company providing technical support may have access to the data, but it is not authorised to process the data in any other way.

Personal data will only be processed for as long as it is strictly necessary to maintain contact, after which they will be deleted from the company's records.

Green Gains Ltd. does not transfer personal data to third parties, other than to contracted data processors.

2.2 Use of Cookies

When visiting the Green Gains Ltd. website, cookies are placed on your device to assist the website provider.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the website, while others collect statistical information on how the site is used in order to improve user experience. 3. Processing of Personal Data of Training Applicants, Participants and Clients

Green Gains Ltd. advertises training courses for employees of institutions, managers, and interested private individuals. These courses are provided as market-based services.

The personal data of applicants and participants are processed solely for the purpose of maintaining contact during the course, concluding contracts (where the participant is a private individual), and meeting mandatory statistical reporting requirements.*

Additional data processed for contractual purposes (private individuals):

  • year of birth
  • gender
  • postal code of address
  • employment status

The legal basis for data processing is the participant's consent, as well as contractual and legal obligations. Data are processed by the director and administrative staff only until the end of the training or service, after which identifiable personal data are deleted unless otherwise specified in the contract.

Accounting records (containing names and addresses) must be retained for 8 years from the date of issue in accordance with accounting regulations.

* Based on Act CLV of 2016 on Official Statistics, anonymised data must be reported to the National Statistical Data Collection Programme (OSAP).

4. Rights and Remedies

You are entitled to the following rights under applicable data protection laws:

  • Right to information: You may request information in writing or verbally at any time about the processing of your personal data. A response must be provided within one month (extendable by two months), free of charge.
  • Right of access: You may request confirmation as to whether your data are being processed, and if so, obtain full information, including copies of your data, recipients, duration of storage, automated decision-making, and profiling.
  • Right to rectification: You may request inaccurate or incomplete data to be corrected without undue delay.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): You may request the deletion of your personal data within a reasonable time where they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, if you withdraw consent, object to processing, or if data have been unlawfully processed.
  • Right to restriction of processing: If you contest the accuracy or lawfulness of processing, you may restrict the use of your data until the issue is resolved.
  • Right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time, in which case Green Gains Ltd. will cease processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: You may submit a complaint to the competent authority:
  • Right to judicial remedy: If your rights relating to the processing of personal data are infringed, you have the right to take legal action before the courts.

To ensure protection, paper-based documents are stored securely, and electronically stored data are accessible only to authorised staff. IT security and document management are regulated in a separate policy.
